Inspired by a dream, Anıl Eraslan sets out to create a documentary about Istanbul’s free improvisation music scene. Accompanied by musician friends, this journey unfolds through dreamlike sounds and intertwined improvisational performances, shaping a film that becomes a magical portrait of the city, oscillating between dream and reality.

Anıl Eraslan
Anıl Eraslan was born in Turkey in 1981 and studied classical, contemporary, jazz, and improvisational music at the Strasbourg Conservatory. Between 2012 and 2015, he participated in various artist residency programs in Berlin, New York, and Strasbourg. With his debut solo album Absorb, he performed at numerous festivals across Europe. Anıl Eraslan has collaborated with many international artists as well as with groups such as Klub Demboh, Ap Lla, Trickster Orchestra, Eponj, ‘H’, and Sousta Politiki. In addition to his musical projects, he continues his artistic career as a film director.
